Fall 2003 Field Trip

On September the 27, 2003 the Professional Geologists of Indiana (PGI) and the Geology Department of University the Southern Indiana hosted a field trip in south western Indiana. Approximately 40 Professional geologists, students, and faculty attended this, the fourth annual, all-university field trip.
This years one day trip centered around the historical aspects of the science of geology and its development in southern Indiana.
The field trip guide book was titled "Type Sections, Environmental Geology, & The Rich Geological Legacy of the New Harmony Area".
PGI wishes to thank all those who attended for making
this a truly enjoyable experience with special recognition to the organizers, Dr. Paul
Doss from USI and PGI Board Member Matt Dagon.
