On October 2, 2004 the Professional Geologists of Indiana (PGI) and the Geology Department  of IUPUI hosted a field trip in Central Indiana.   Over 80 Professional geologists, students, and faculty attended this, the fifth  annual, all-university field trip.

This years one day trip centered around the geology near the Indianapolis area with bedrock, glacial, wetland hydrology, and fluvial stops.

This photograph was taken in the Hanson Quarry overlook area. This photograph was taken in the Hanson Quary floor.  It is the Geo's on the Rocks' photograph for 2004.
