Microsoft's Terraserver site contains aerial photography for much of the country.  Recent USGS aerial photography used for the DOQ's in Indiana can be found on the site with up to 1m. pixel resolution.  Images off terraserver can be used to create moderately detailed photo mosaics of areas of interest.

Check out http://www.topozone.com/.  This is a website that makes finding  UTMs for a location EASY.   All you need to do is type in a city near your site.  Find your project location by viewing the map displayed.  You can convert to 1:25,000 which is ~ the same is the 1:24,000 topos.  Once you've located your site run your cursor over the area and wha-la your utms are displayed at the bottom left hand corner.
