Gneisses of the Little San Bernardino Mountains: A banded metamorphic rock,

with much coarser light and dark bands than gneisses of the western Early Proterozoic

province of the Park. These gneisses are well exposed in the area around Keys View.

Recent studies suggest a remarkably young, probably Late Cretaceous age.
