List Servers (ListServ)
maintained by the The Department of Earth Sciences maintains three ListServs to aid internal communications. These lists are available to anyone with an interest in geology and events at IUPUI. To subscribe to any of the lists, you must send an e-mail to LISTSERV@iupui.edu with word "SUBscribe" followed by the list code in the first line of the body of the message. See below for specific instructions for the three lists: Geology | Geology Club | BSES Program | more about Listserv Geology ListServ [ GEOL-L ] This is a general list server that is used to announce upcoming events of geologic interest (fieldtrips, conferences, conventions), jobs in the Geosciences, and news of geologic interest. To join send the following text in the body of an e-mail message (NOT in the Subject line) to listserv@iupui.edu : SUBscribe GEOL-L You will receive a confirmation via e-mail, follow the instructions included in that confirmation message. To submit an article or notice, send mail to GEOL-L@iupui.edu. You must be a member of the Geology ListServe to post messages. Geology Club ListServ [ geoclub-L ] This is a server that is used by the Geology Club to post announcement and events that are geared toward students. The Geology Club is a student organization that promotes fun trips, fund raisers, and participation in student events.
